Stand up straight and bring the measuring tape around the fullest part or apex of your bust. This point is usually right around the nipples. You can take this measurement with your bra on, if desired, and the result will be your bra apex measurement.
Determine your cup size by comparing your bra band measurement with your bra apex measurement. If your apex is 1 inch larger than your band, you are an A cup. Two inches larger is a B cup, 3 inches larger is a C cup, 4 inches larger is a D cup, and 5 inches larger is a DD cup.
Measure the band size by wrapping the measuring tape around your upper back, under your armpits and across your chest above your breasts. As you measure, hold the tape parallel to the ground. If you come up with an odd number, round it up by one inch. For instance, 35 inches should be rounded up to 36 inches for the band size. Write down your measurement on a piece of paper.
Wrap the measuring tape around your back and over the largest part of your breasts, keeping the tape level with the ground as you do so. Write down this measurement on a piece of paper.
Subtract your first measurement by your second measurement and write it down on a piece of paper. For every inch, you will go up one cup size. For instance, if the difference between the two measurements is one inch, then you wear an A cup, or for three inches, you wear a C cup.
Wear a Lingerie manufacturer that fits you comfortably, even if you are not sure it is the right size. Make sure to choose a bra without padding, as padding can affect the accuracy of the measurement.
Use a tape measure to measure around your torso, placing the tape measure just under your breasts and noting the circumference around your rib cage and back. This can be done without removing clothing, although you should wear a thin T-shirt rather than a sweater if you don't want to remove your shirt. MORE:Lingerie wholesale
